Imana Wild Ride

Well again that time of year has rolled around again and its time for the Imana Wild ride! One of the best four days of anyone's life. I have been prievalged enough to do this race a couple times and win it as well. I took a break from the race for a couple years to give other teams a chance to participate in the event as the numbers of very small and exclusive. I had entered the event with Itec Connects Gavin Meyer and we were bound to have a good time. With some unexpected business commitments popping up he was unable to make it and kindly gave the entry to me and said do it with whoever you would like... I have promised Brid that if I ever did Imana again it would be with her and this year just seemed like now or never. So Bridg and I are teaming up in the mixed category to go and have a good time. I am really hoping that I will not turn one pedal stroke in force and just have a super relaxed time and really enjoy ourselves. I have had some really good training leading up to now so a nice cruise along the transkei coast will be just what the doctor ordered. We will take pics and post them onto the blog in the evenings and they will go onto the FedGroup team website as well. This is going to be great time for us and really looking forward to it. Today we head out to the Umkomaas area to do a bit a route recon for the STHIL umko classic which is to be held on the 2nd September 2012. Ryan from Game On Sports along with Title sponsors STHIL are putting a lot into the event this year to make sure it caters for everyone and that it's a memorable experience in a hidden gem...
